I’ve been involved with book publishing for more than 40 years, and have used many different printers. Since The Country Press did its very first job for me, they have been my exclusive printer for the last decade. The quality is always excellent, and they are on time for every deadline they cite. Last year, they did numerous small print runs of my “eclipse book.” This was a complex job that involved inserting safety glasses, as well as shrink-wrapping. They nailed it 100% every time. Mike and his team are a pleasure to work with.

I run a small niche publishing company and have printed all of our books at the Country Press. They have been amazing. The quality is great — I get feedback from readers all the time — and they are so easy to work with. I could not recommend them more highly.
As an independent designer, I couldn’t ask for better quality, customer service, and quick turnaround from the team at Country Press! As printing companies are consolidating or going out of business, it’s great to have Country Press as a go-to resource for short run book printing. Never have to wait for a quote and books are shipped fast and economically. My customers are never disappointed. Thank you, Mike and production crew!
Huge thanks to Dave and the hardworking crew of Country Press!! They consistently deliver a top quality product to my specifications at an excellent price. They know who I am when I call and they are immediately on top of my needs. As a bestselling indie-author, I am expected to produce books that not only look like they have come from the big six publishing houses, but can sit alongside well-known NYT bestsellers at Barnes and Noble. I am constantly asked who my publisher is and people are shocked to find out that I AM my publisher and Country Press is my printer. I am always recommending Country Press to my fellow writers, including Dean Coe, whose picture book looks stunning thanks to them. You can’t go wrong with Dave and the crew – and even better, they too are perfectionists.
We’re a small independent publisher established in 1990. For the past ten years, we relied on a printer based in Maryland but in the last year their prices increased sharply and their work suddenly became shoddy with three out of four titles being unacceptable. There is no excuse for curled covers or rippled pages. That smacks of unprofessionalism. But they never accepted blame for those mistakes. It was always someone else’s fault: the carrier, the weather, the phases of the moon. The whole relationship became unbearable. When we set out looking for another printer, it was a long drawn-out process since the expectation of quality seems a thing of the past. We also discovered when asking for samples that just because new companies can afford the machinery, it doesn’t teach them about properly and professionally manufacturing books or respecting cover and page layouts. But when we discovered The Country Press, all of our problems were solved. Their work is simply outstanding. We were on the same wavelength. I can’t compliment or praise them enough. Their product is simply superb. Use them. You won’t be disappointed.
